Description
The Silver product include total emissions factors in Mg CO2e per million XOF and USD, plus total emissions contributions by sector-level scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Silver products allow early insights into the structure of supply chain emissions and simple integration with primary reported data, which can be used to indicate mitigation potentials at different degrees of supplier engagement. These results align with common GHG accounting practices of reporting scope 1, scope 2, and scope 3. The Silver Product additionally contains reference tabs for Produce Price Index (PPI), Exchange Rates, and a EEIO sector to NAICS code Crosswalk. The PPI tab details the inflationary and deflationary purchase prices indexed to the EEIO Reference year (2013) by industry sector. The Exchange Rates tab lists exchange rates between USD and XOF for respective EEIO Reference years (2013) and model years 2020, 2022, and 2023. The Crosswalk tab assists in identifying the appropriate emissions factor to use by relating EEIO sectors to NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) codes.
